Its coming up to 10years since I last posted anything on Deviantart! Life has moved in many difficult, frustrating, and sad ways since last I was here - I was just too busy but injuries, illness and grief have disabled me. I am at last getting back in touch with painting from the heart again. I lost touch with my instinctive, creative self and life's traumas had very much got in the way, physically and mentally. Now the juices are flowing again and I am finding my way back. I am now returning to floral watercolour, nature, and botanical art. I also paint with acrylics, painting to express emotion, painting music and lyrics and this has become a real outlet of emotion for me. I'm just so glad to be feeling the creativity again. I have particularly tuned into the imagery I see when I hear music or read lyrics or poems. I 'see' the music and words, and just paint them. I had a hand injury and botanical painting can be a painful struggle and a massive psychological struggle too. I'll

Sorry to all those messages I've not replied to. I'm just a useless human being, that spends too much time cooking cake, creating costumes and painting pictures (oh, and feeding the family!) to get on the computer and keep in touch. But I am still here . . . occasionally!!! :)

Many apologies to all those who have posted comments, faved deviations and made me a friend. I have been hopelessly bad at keeping up to date on my devientart pages! Where do the days go? And how do you all manage so well, I just can't keep up with life and deviance! Thank you all for your comments, faves and friendships, and I will continue to try and keep in touch in my usual hit-and-miss fashion!
